Medical Social Work: November 2025 Annual Skills & Compliance Validation

The following outline identifies the required skills for Medical Social Workers participating in the November Skills Fair. These validations are focused on core safety and compliance elements essential to the home and hospice care environment. Each competency ensures continued alignment with organizational policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory expectations.

Please arrive prepared with your clinical bag/bin for inspection and ensure your personal protective equipment (PPE) is readily available. The bag and bin check will occur as you arrive and will be passed off to designated staff for review.

November Skills for Validation

These competencies are required for all field-based Medical Social Workers and will be validated through direct observation during the November Skills Fair. Any staff requiring additional review or unable to attend their assigned session will coordinate a make-up or remediation time with Clinical Staff Development.

Reminder: All staff must complete the 2025 Annual Compliance and Training Packet, test, and attestation by December 31, 2025.
