Diagnosis of COPD
A diagnosis of COPD is made with the following:
- Physical examination
- Detailed medical and work history
- Breathing tests (pulmonary function tests or
spirometry)- Chest x-ray
- Oxygen level measurements
- Blood tests
- Mucus culture
- Exercise tests
