Keep a Healthy Weight
Eating better can help you feel better. Eating a variety of healthy foods can help fight infections, prevent illnesses, give you more energy and help you grow stonger.
- Talk about your diet with your health-care provider, dietitian or nutritionist
- Eat 5 to 6 small meals a day instead of 3 large ones
- Eat a variety of healthy foods every day (fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products, proteins)
- Make extra food and freeze it
- Limit caffeinated drinks (caffeine may cause problems with some of your medications)
- Eat your main meal early in the day (it will give you more energy to get through the day)
